United Way of Greater Kansas City

The United Way international network of over 1,800 local nonprofit fundraising affiliates is dedicated to supporting the health, education and financial stability of every community. Through its support of the United Way Kansas City’s general fund, the Kao Family Foundation supports a group of local organizations each year. Recent recipients include Angel Clothing Foundation, Heart to Heart International, Kanbe’s Markets, Make-a-Wish Foundation of Missouri & Kansas, and Synergy Services.
