Garden School Foundation

Garden School Foundation (GSF) provides garden-based education to youth at Title I elementary schools across Los Angeles, reaching nearly 4,000 students and their families each year with in-depth, standards-aligned gardening, cooking, and environmental education. By using the full transformative potential of school gardens and cafeterias as teaching sites, GSF strengthens connections between food justice, environmental stewardship, and community health, nurturing a healthy and mindful generation of children to care for their bodies, their communities, and the earth.
