Empowering Women as Leaders, Austin

Empowering Women as Leaders (EWL) provides non-traditional-aged women (23 years and older) scholarships to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Through a comprehensive model of scholarships, mentoring, and networking, EWL helps these women overcome barriers and achieve personal, academic, and professional success. In 2025, the Kao Family Foundation awarded a grant to the EWL Austin Chapter in support of undergraduate scholarships at Texas State University San Marcos and Round Rock campuses.
